Tzatziki starts with a good Greek yogurt, and this is one for the job. Lancashire Farm Greek Yogurt is thick and creamy, made in the traditional Greek style that holds its shape on a spoon rather than running thin. Use it to make a proper tzatziki with cucumber, garlic and a little mint, or spoon it over a curry to cool things down. It works well swirled through soups, stirred into marinades for chicken or lamb, or dolloped alongside a Sunday roast in place of soured cream. At breakfast, layer it into a bowl with fruit and honey, or simply have it on its own with a spoonful of jam. Its thickness makes it useful in baking too, adding moisture to cakes and flatbreads without thinning the mixture. Because it holds together well, it can also be used as a base for dips and sauces without splitting. Keep it in the fridge and give the tub a stir before serving, as a little liquid may settle on top. Once opened, use within a few days and always replace the lid tightly between uses to keep it fresh for longer.
